Autism Speaks Autism Treatment Network (ATN) Registry
As a network of 12 research medical centers, the ATN offers families autism diagnoses, ongoing care, treatment options, and much more. From these services, the ATN is able to maintain a patient registry that captures information around the care and progress of children with autism who are seen at each center. The goal of the registry is to identify common medical conditions associated with ASD and their treatments, and to characterize the healthcare profile of children with ASD.
AIR-P researchers frequently use the ATN data registry to design and conduct studies. While information on registry participants is used to run data analyses and identify and recruit potential study participants, it is also used to formulate questions for additional research studies. AIR-P studies primarily include families participating in the registry, and information from the registry as part of the study data.
