Susan Daniels, PhD, Director of the Office of Autism Research Coordination (OARC) discusses the work of the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee, a federal advisory committee established by Congress to advise the Secretary of Health and Human Services on issues related to autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The committee, composed of federal officials and public stakeholders, provides a forum for exchange of ideas and collaboration between federal agencies and the public in order to support federal and private efforts to help individuals and families affected by ASD. The presentation covers the previous activities and accomplishments of the committee, as well as the most recent legislative changes and how they will impact the future work of the committee.
